What is the difference between wheezes and rhonchi?
Can you explain it to me?

J B
Jeff is correct by here is more information. Wheezing is often a higher pitched noise, most commonly occurring on expiration but can be with both inspiration and expiration when listening to breath sounds. Rhonchi is a deep, low sound which mimics the sound of rubber rubbing together and most often occurs during expiration but this too can be both inspiratory and expiratory.

jeff j
wheezing is a musical sound. rhonchi sounds like a snore. It is due to turbulence of the air as it moves through the larger air tubes in the lung (i.e. if the lining of the tubes are inflammed or swollen it could cause turbulence)
