okay so i went to the doc cuz i felt dizzy and very weak and he said my BP was a little high. 140. so then i got meds, now it is at 130. well thats what it read 3 weeks ago.. i do not feel as weak as the first weeks, but i STILL don't feel NORMAL.. i am only 18. and weigh about 120. i am a male. i still feel a little weak.. specialy in the mornings.. i get about 7 to 8 hours of sleep so i know thats enough. and i think i always feel as if i just drank a red bull. cuz i feel like my body just NEEDS to move! even wen im relaxed in bed... is this due to my BP? even tho its only at 130? i mean ive heard people with BP at 180 that dont feel symptons.. so why me? or does it maybe have to do with something else? and is my prehypertension temporary? i hope it goes away soon =/ i feel to young to live like this for the rest of my life =[ |

Well, 130 for a systolic pressure is a prehypertension, but you are forgetting your pressure was 140 and you needed meds to get that blood pressure, that accounts for an hypertension that the doc is trying to control.
If you got it at such a young age, you probably have kidney or heart problems that should be studied before they can answer to you if the cause is temporary or permanent. |

or are you saying you thiink you might have it ?! because diabetes deals with Blood Sugar , not Blood Pressure . |
