I have social phobia only on particular occasions, not during all social situations, I am able to go party without any problem, but other times when I know certain people will be around I panic, I sweat, I cant stare people in the eye, I begin to have irrational thoughts about what people are thinking of me. My doctor prescribed zoloft 50mg, he told me to take it one or two days before the day I will be in a stressful social situation and on that day as well and that it will help, but I always felt that zoloft has to be taken everyday so that it can build up in your system in order to be useful, does anyone have experience of NOT taking zoloft daily for social anxiety but about one or two days before a social event and still having it work? please reply
