Just yesterday I was diagnosed at the hospital with having whiplash and the doctor just described exercises for me to do and prescribed me 2mg diazepam, 50mg diclofenac and 8/500 co-codamol. The diclofenac and co-codamol really help with the pain in my head neck and shoulders, but now after taking it a couple of times my stomach's been complaining when I take them. Also, the diazepam doesn't really seem to do much more than make me extremely sleepy very quickly. Should I still take them or should I go to my doctor and ask to have something different? |

for your stomach problems, if you take it with food, which you should anyway because those meds are hard on your stomach.. but that will decrease a lot of the GI effects.
as for as the diazepam, it's just suppose to relax you, it's for muscle relaxant.. but if you don't think you need it... then stop taking it. but sedation is a huge side effect for that. it works great tho! |
