i think i'm getting patellofemoral syndrome as the inside of my knees kill when i bend them cross legged and such and when im sitting cross legged they hurt after awhile and all the way up the side of my hip as well. also when i get up from sitting and start walking or something my hip joint hurts when i walk its really weird and i have to limp just so i dont feel the pain, it's not too bad now but once or twice its been really bad that i've had to limp in order to walk without much pain. i'm 16 years old and have flat feet and have had achilles tendinitis and stress fractures and apparently have a waddle gait. my hip joints also pop and click if i move them certain ways |

It just sounds like inflammation. The hip pain is most likely from your altered gait (walking), the tendon that goes across the hip bone gets irritated and swollen and slides across the bone causing the "popping" sound. If you're involved in sports, you need to stretch adequately before AND after your activities. Ask you doctor to see an orthopedist, you may need orthotic inserts in your shoes. |
