Could be anything without a visual, or more of a description. Most likely either contact dermatitis (poison ivy, etc. basic rash from contact with an allergen) or eczema. Eczema can be caused by your diet, it's tough to find out what it is that is causing it. I have eczema from dairy. Over the counter cortisone will probably be your best option either way unless you see a Dr.

You could have hives. I have twice had a random case of hives that came, stayed for nine months, and then left without explanation. Doctors gave me Zyrtec, which was the only thing that made them go away. Benedryl, Allegra, doctor-prescribed steriods, none of that worked.. They never could explain what caused it, except maybe stress. Some people always get hives when stressed. Mine were here constantly, except controlled by the Zyrtec. I would stop taking it, they would come back, until nine months or so.
There are other skin conditions that could be causing this, so go see a doctor. I saw many doctors for this. Some knew more than others, so don't give up if you are not satisfied with your first trip or two. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck. |
