Use Pycnogenol for Dry and Chapped Lips

Hot and spicy foods can cause chapping of lips in some people. This could be due to inflammation. Capsaicin in hot peppers is well known to cause inflammation. Some people can feel the tingling and burning of the alkaloid on their lips that may result in mild swelling which eventually dries up and chapps. Pycnogenol, the antioxidant from pine bark extract, helps prevent the chapping and drying of the lips that can result from eating hot and spicy foods. Steps
- Take one caplet (60mg) of Pycnogenol per day for 10 days.
- Thereafter, take one caplet every 3 days until you finish the whole bottle.
- If you love eating hot food you will need to have Pycnogenol at hand because your symptoms will not go away for good
- People who do not eat hot foods and still get dry and chapped lips should try Pycnogenol. This antioxidant has other health benefits as well.
Tips
- Add grape seed oil, in addition to your cooking oil, when you prepare hot foods. Grape seed oil is known to contain pycnogenol. For some yet to be known reason grape seed oil makes hot foods, especially those that contain capsaicin, kind of mild.
