I and many doctors recommend never having this procedure done. |

you can, but i wouldn't if i were you
you should wait til your eyes stop developing
because if you get it now they will keep developing like they are now and you will have to get it done again when they are done
when i was your age i was told i have to wear glasses and i thought that same thing and after researching it, thats what i found |

You have to talk to a doc |

You should wait until you're at least 25, because your eyes grow and change until then. Lasik would only be temporary. |

i wouldn't recommend it just yet, plus its pretty expensive.
wait a few years and keep the glasses on, just to see how your vision turns out.
my friend got lasik at age 12 and spent all kinds on money on it, and it did nothing. she has to do it again now. so its not a sure thing it will work, so i say wait it out a year or two. |

Sorry to crush your plans but you have to 21 or older to have lasik eye surgery done. You may want to try contacts which is up to your parents or guardians to let you have cause you are old enough to have them. |

Nah gotta wait for your eyes to stop changing so fast. You can do it once you're full grown i.e. 18-20ish |

Lasik eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.
Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Absolutely not! Since you are a child, your eyes will keep changing after on. You will probably have to be 20-25 before you can do this surgery--it depends on when your prescription stops changing. Also, as a rule, you have to be at least 18 to do the surgery. |

No I think you have to be 21, plus your eyes keep changing until you are about 25 so it is not recommended before then because it might just be a waste of money |

No. You have to be at least 18 years old, and even then, if your eyes have not been stable for a while, they may make you wait for a year or two anyway. And it is rather expensive if you have a good surgeon, and insruance does not cover it. |

No. The minimum age for LASIK is 18...and most surgeons prefer to wait until patients are in their early 20s with a stable refraction for 2 years. |

You can't get lasik unitl you are over 18. Your eyes are still grwoing so no doctor will do lasik on you unitl you are at least 18. Its not even approved by the FDA for anyone under the age of 18 |
