My allergies/sinuses are really bothering me this year...unfortunately I have carpet in my house...but I wanted to know has anyone suffered from allergies and used a natural remedy??? I have super-bad allergies, and the only natural things that work are the following.
1. Don't come near a dog or a cat. If one of these is in your house, forget about everything else.
2. Keep a list of the foods that cause you a problem, and don't eat them.
3. Keep your house clean and vacuum often (let someone else do this).
4. At night, use your A/C in the summer and a space heater and a humidifier in the winter.
5. Drink plenty of water (8 10-oz glasses per day)
6. If you have asthma too, in addition to your inhalers, always have a bottle of vodka (there is no substitute) with you and when you're in trouble, drink just 1-oz and wait 5 minutes and then you'll be able to use your inhalers. If you can't inhalf, your inhalers are useless, thus the vodka..
