Water will help sort of lube the system as it were. Fiber makes everything stick together. 100% Grape Juice (like Welch's Concord Grape) will soften it. Ground Cinnamon, Ginger and Cayenne Pepper are also good digestives and will get you moving. The cinnamon and ginger work very well in juices, OJ, Grape, Cranberry. The Pepper seems to work best when it's in food, I like to put it in an omelet. There's also prunes and castor oil. Castor oil works best in a hot drink like coffee or tea.
