| Is diabetes irreversible? |
|
|
|
Bux - Type 2 Diabetic (NIDDM)
|
Yes John, it is reversible. But not in our lifetime due to religious zealots, greedy Pharma companies sitting on the cure, and politics.
Yes, sometimes it can be reversed. An example would be pancreatitis. That can cause temporary diabetes unless you let it go too long or have it too often. Pancreatitis is usually caused by gallstones.
Testosterone replacement therapy is also a way that some diabetics can be 'cured', but find a doctor that will get it covered under your insurance is a different matter...
Testosterone builds lean muscle and reduces adipose fat, both of which are directly linked to type 2 diabetes. It also works in most females too, albeit the healthy ones. If they have PCOS, they are out of luck.
About type 1 diabetics, they will have to wait a long, long while yet.
Research has shown that they can take stem cells, convert them into beta cells, treat them so the immune system leaves them alone, and attach them to their kidneys.
Diet and exercise is NOT a cure. It is a treatment.
To be cured of diabetes, you must be able to go back to eating anything you want and not having to exercise, while still maintaining normal blood sugars.
Anything else is just a treatment or a lie. |
