Red Wine does any body drink it?
My husband doctor said he should drink red wine for his HDL/ LDL levels he told him a glass a day how many ounces should that be i have looked it up on line and get many different answers he does take fish oil and niacin which has helped a lot the doctor said that Pinot Noir was a good one to drink someone also said that Cabernet Savvigan and Petit Syrah and sweet table wine were also good for levels which ones are best?We have tried Pinot Noir in different brands some we have to mix with a little grape juice because they are too strong for us to drink if anyone can help with this i will be grateful thank-you.
Wow.

A glass is a red wine glass.
You dont have to measure it precisely.
Enjoy it. If you dont like one type, try another brand.
Not all pinots or all cab savs taste alike.
I wish my doctor would tell me to drink more wine!!!!

The best red wines are Chilean Wines. And yes 1 small glass of red cabernet, merlot or red table wine is good for the heart. The Syrah is spicy and not everyone likes it. Its an acquired taste. Like I said, you need to get use to the dry strong taste.

When it comes to wine, usually 4 oz. is considered a "glass". As far as what kind of red wine to drink, anything dark. Just test out different flavors. Pinot Noir is pretty dry as most red wines are. Maybe try a Merlot or Cabernet Savignon. They are a little more sweet. He could also eat oatmeal or cheerios daily.
