Lots of protein will give you the best muscle recovery time. You also need carbohydrates to boost your energy. Any kind of lean meat along with some bread or maybe pasta is a good recovery meal after a workout.

After a hard workout you need protien to fuel your growing muscles. Opt for lean chicken breast and steamed broccoli or asspargas.
Steak is also a good option if its lean sirlion or Filet.
Another good side would be baked beans or black beans. Both are rich in protien and easy on calories.
Remember: Your body will continue to burn calories as you sleep so counting calories after a hard workout is really not necessary if you eat right.
