i was skateboarding today. i fell and i tried to catch my self with both my hands. my thumb was under my hand when i tried to catch my self. directly after that my thumb "fell asleep". it hurts every time i bend it, and it wont bend most ways it used too. its swollen. when i apply pressure to the bone it hurts and when i try to push something with it, or basically try to use it it hurts. it happened about 11 hours ago. you should probably go to the doctor, your finger might be broken. and if you can't make it to the doctor soon, you should ice it and try not to move it so much. but you really should go to the doctor soon. |

go to the ER. Sounds like you might have dislocated it, or cracked it. In either case, you need a doctor.
Just go. If you try to sleep with it as it is, the "falling asleep" is due to your circulation being cut off. Don't want to do that. |

It could be broken, or at the very least fractured. I'd take a quick run to your local doctor to have it checked out. |

Go to the hospital. You broke your thumb, if it fell asleep and then the bone is hurting you most likely broke it. Put some ice on it and get your butt to the hospital so they can splint it. |
