She confesses to you BEFORE you get intimate that she has herpes. Would you blow her off or would you educate yourself about this disease and give it a try?

i dont think you should get intimate with her unless you plan on marrying her that way when your both together your only passing it between each other- dont get intimate then when/if you end up breaking up your giving it to other people and thats not right.... but if your educated about it more you can make an decision for yourself, those are just my thoughts about it.

If you like the girl and you see a future....educate yourself...there is treatments that can allow a person who is infected to be intimate.....talk to the doc....both of you before you get intimate.............

im agreeing because atleast she was honest enough to come out and tell you instead of letting you get it then telling you...
If yuo love the girl than the only thing you can do is educate, educate, educate yourself about it... but you have to understand the consequences that what if you go out with her.. get herpes and then youand her split up (not saying it will happen.. but yeah) then someone you will fall in love with will be in your shoes thinking weither or not she shoudl be with you...
Im not saying to dump her because she could be really nice and caring and a great person, but educate yourself and just think about things before you continue on.

I give her a lot of respect for coming out & telling you the truth; a lot of people will just get intimate with you & act like they didn't know about it. If you really like her & she sounds like a real honest woman then I would take the time to educate myself on this disease. Now a days there are many medications out there that can prevent you from getting this STD from your partner. Herpes never go away, but if you take the right precaustions & educate yourself you'll be just fine. Good Luck!
