Perhaps a "scarlet letter" for all who carry an infectious disease? Very "Big Brother" but may be something to consider for international travel. Perhaps it could cut down on the spread of diseases like sars, tuburcelosis, avian flu and other diseases that for politically correct purposes shall remain nameless. |

That is hillarious!!! Good idea though. B/c obviously people aren't up front about it, that is why it is a problem. I totally think you should market that idea!!! |

I aint about to put people down with Herpes, but i know i would probably never date anyone with it. Also alot of people dont think cold sores are herpes but they actually are herpes 1. |

serious but also funny question
Maybe there should be something that people should do but i dont think a wrist band is the right way to go.. |
|
Giggle

no-yellow wrist bands were for something else, although I thinnk it would be a good idea to tag infected people.. |

No, but people who sleep around should go get tested for every possible std before they sleep with someone else.
If more people were tested for everything, then the virus wouldn't be spread so much. If my husband had been tested for it, then maybe I would not have it.It's misleading to say "I've had an STD test and it was all negative." when you reallly were never tested for herpes also. |

Where would one wear it? It should be worn where it wouldn't wear out. |

yes!!
and people who are left handed should have to wear a pink bracelet
and people who are Capricorns should have to wear a white band..... and....... |
|
mudmommy
|
if you are supporting a cause, why not?
it affects you and you would want a cure found, right?
if you are going to wear it (or suggest that other people wear it) so that you can easily discriminate against someone (like a Nazi) - move to another country !
why not have a child rapist bracelet? or pot smoker bracelet? while we are at it, let's make a dumb people bracelet, that way we know to avoid answering the dumb questions they ask! |
|
JBOY
|
only if you wear one with idiot on it so insensitive |
|
susie x ♥♥♥
|
ermmm. what about those with fungal infections or halitosis, German measles or chicken pox? the list would be endless and you cant discriminate against one, you have to have 'em all |
|

Do you intend this for people who suffer from cold sores too? That's the Herpes virus too! An awful lot of bands are going to be needed if that's the case. |

no because then to be fair everyone should wear an armband that has ailments on it ranging from heart disease to hiv to stupidity. |
