I'm at vacation at my aunts house and have a ear infection. I know when I get them. I can tell. (I've had them since I was 4 and now 14 almost 15.) I just can't go back home for another 2-3 weeks. My mom is about 9 hours away so I can;t go to the doctors either. Now I'm in huge pain my ear is killing me and I'm crying.

there are numerous over the counter ear drops but they just relieve the symptoms (if they even do that) you cannot get an antibiotic ear drop.. what you can do is call your primary care doctor and explain the situation, if you get them frequently it will be in your records anyway, and even if not your doctor will most likely call in the medication to a pharmacy within whatever area you are in just make sure when you call the office you have the phone number handy for whatever pharmacy you plan on using.. also tell who ever takes the message all of your symptoms, how long you have been experiencing the symptoms, and any allergies (to medications) you have and leave a phone number the doctor can reach you at as they may want to give you a call back before ordering you something... trust me it is not an uncommon request and your doctor will most likely order you something (of course you may have to have been seen recently within the past year as that is the rule in my office- although in certain situations like this one where the patient just cannot come in and has not been seen within a year and a half to 2 years but we still have a chart they usually order the med as long as the patient schedules an appointment)
