While this is a bit higher than recommended, if no intestinal/stomach discomfort you should be fine. The dangers of 'too much' of this type of NSAID is usually chronic usage of high levels. Say, 3-4,000mg or more daily for years.
Naproxen Sodium at 1000mg in a single dose is not unheard of to be prescribed on a short term basis.
