A couple days ago, a bump that looks just like a spider bite, showed up on his neck. But he diddnt even feel it happen. but now over the last two days the bump has gotten bigger and redder with a red ring around it thats getting darker, and now hes in so much pain hes having trouble moving his neck, without being in exrutiating pain, I told him he should go to the doctor but he says theres nothing They can do, and hes fine, What do you guys think, should he go? or is there anyone whos had an experiannce like this, or anyone know what might be going on, or something that could help with the pain, aspring and ibuprofin isnt working at all, please help someone. im worried : ( |

Ok i was bitten by a brown recluse spider about 4 yrs ago and that is exactly what it did. First a bump shows up, then develops a red ring, the ring is where the venom has gotten to. If he doesn't go to a doctor then it could get bad, real bad. If it was a brown recluse then his skin can rot from the venom. If he goes to the doctor they will put him on steroids to boost his immune system up. Also, keep ice on it as much as possible this keeps the venom from spreading anymore.
