You will pee like a race horse for sure. |

yes but you won't be healthy |
|

|
Yes but this is not a healthy way to do it. You still need the nutrients and vitamins that other foods give you. Eating healthy and adding a little more exercise into your routine is a better method for losing weight. |

yes, you will probably lose about 3 lbs.
but if you start eating normally again you will gain it right back.
you have to change your long term eating habits.
like for example fast one day every week
if you want a permanent change |

you wont lose fat, just muscle. then as soon as you start eating your body will store it as fat in case of another "famine" such as the one you had just inflicted upon yourself |
|
Reaper King
|
yes, but you will need to eat SOMETHING during that time. like carrot sticks or veggies or something that your body can use for fuel. water alone will help you lose weight but will not be very beneficial to your body overall. essentially you will be starving yourself to lose weight which is not healthy |

You kinda need food, it's hard to fill up on only water. You'll starve yourself and therfor loose weight. But that's called anorexia. |

starvation is not healthy |

Yes, but you'll permanently screw up your body. It's not worth it. |

maybe. but you might just gain water weight. |

Yeah, for sure, but I don't think thats the most fool-proof or convenient or the healthiest way to do it. Plus there is not guarantee that you can push through with it. (I know I can't) |

Yes you will lose weight.. however once that week is over you'll gain it all back plus more perhaps..
i would recommend you lose weight by eating properly and staying active.. go for a jog.. :) |

Yes but you will also make yourself very ill in the process. Your body needs vitamins and nutrients. If you want to lose weight try a low fat diet and exercise. Please don't try these silly fad diets. You will just pile on more weight after.
Take care and be sensible xxx |

yes but it is unhealthy, i have known fitness trainers who have people do it and excercise to get a six pack in several days, |

nope , u will only lose vital nutrients.
To lose weight , you need to eat vegetarian food , full of proteins and fibre. Plus walk 4 miles briskly. |

It will NOT be healthy. Drink your water, but eat healthier along with it. |

Yes, and you will also make yourself very ill.
You will probably mainly lose fluids and muscle, as your body will go into starvation mode, storing as much fat as possible. After the 7 days, when you start eating normally again, you will probably gain all the weight back plus more, but this time you will just gain fat. So you will actually end up being heavier than before you started. I would give it a miss, what do you think?
Just eat healthily and exercise regularly, treat your body right and you will see results. If you abuse your body, it will not respond well and you will end up feeling and looking worse. Stay fit and healthy : ) |

If you have nothing else going into your body for that seven day period, you'll be very hungry, very malnutritioned, at a much higher risk for illness and infection, and run the risk of heart failure ( the heart needs potassium, copper, sodium, zinc . . . ) decreased mental function, fatigue (you'll have no energy coming into your body) and potentially the loss of your hair (your hair takes nutrients -- if your body doesn't have any, it'll try to limit the nutrient expediture). If you're going to lose weight -- do it safely, don't be stupid . . . death is a great weight-loss method . . . but the boys don't like you so much . . . you're not nearly as lively. |

yeah you mite also die too tho |
|
Strange question...
|
Yes, but when you do eat again, your body will hold every calorie to make up for the starvation period. It is better, safer, and more effective to lose weight slowly with diet and exercise (sensible diet, that is). |

Yeah, and not the healthy type of weight loss you want. For one, it will absolutely make your metabolism hit the bottom. Your body will start finding alternative nutrition. Guess what contains the best nutrients in your body? It's not fat. No it's muscle tissue. Your body will literally eat up it's muscle tissue, and since muscle is pretty dense, you will lose a lot of weight. But you will still have the fatty tissues. The way to burn fat is to keep your metabolism in good shape. Eat more smaller meals in a day, drink plenty of water and keep active. Starving yourself is not the answer, and it doesn't work! I hope this helps! |

yes but its unhealthy and when you do eat again your body will instantly gain the weight back and then some. The reason for the rapid weight gain is because when you deprive your body from food it goes into survival mode and thinks you are starving to death. This results in slowing of the metabolism and consequently more storage of fat. The body stores the fat for use in future periods of time with no food intake. So in summary you will lose the weight for a time but also create a condition in your body which causes you to gain weight. |

No you will not lose weight by just drinking water. You have to have other food in your system to help absorb the water. the only thing you will gain is water weight. To lose weight by drinking water you need to drink a glass with every meal and if you feel hungry a little bit after you ate then you can drink a glass of water if will fill you up. It takes longer for water to be digested then food does in your body.
Good Luck!!!! |

Nope. You're body will realize quickly that you are starving it and will conserve the calories it has stored already. |

if you eat and drink only water you probably will loose weight but remember that drinking too much water can strain you liver, so be careful |

You would lose weight, but you would also probably have major nutrition issues. If you want to avoid a visit to the emergency room, eat something!!!!! If you want to lose weight, do it in a healthy way. |

Read this excerpt from the book "Dieting for Dummies" by Jane Kirby: "Don't cut your calorie level drastically when trying to lose weight; this strategy will backfire. Your body is programmed to defend your usual weight, so when calories are cut severely - to fewer than 800 to 1,000 a day - your metabolic rate adjusts to conserve the few calories you do give your body."
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm
Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
Here are two articles on how to break through a weight loss plateau:
http://www.webmd.com/content/article/86/99147.htm
http://www.webmd.com/content/pages/18/102117.htm
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.
