No, there is no room in between the eye and the lens for the steam to form.. they are pretty much stuck to your eye |
|

you are all in my heart forever
|
no, because there shouldn't be any air between your contacts and eyeball like there is with glasses. i'm going to make this an interesting question. it's different. |

No, but boy can they fog up, so bad you cant see a thing, that's in my case when I am stressed, driving into the sun, or they are just getting old. |

Glasses lenses steam up when they are colder than the dew point of the air they go into. This can be cold outdoors to warm moister indoors or cold air conditioning into warm outside or pool air.
But contact lenses are thin, floating on liquid on the surface of the warm body and covered occasionally with the eyelids - thus they are too warm to frost or steam over. |

I have been wearing them since I was 17. The only problem I have ever had with them if drying out or getting dust particles on them. Occasionally they get stuck under the eye lid if you forget they are there and rub them. But I have never had any lens steam up. |

just me

No, but sometimes when I come inside from the cold, they kind of feel funny and make my eyes water for a few minutes. |

Some of contacts many good features when compared to glasses: rain doesn't effect them (unless a heavy drop hits you in the eye), they don't steam up from walkin inside from the cold, they don't steam up from too much steam in a room, and they show off your eyes! |

no lol that would be brutal |

Yes they do. I wear gas permeable lenses (soft lenses won't steam) and when I'm cooking and take the lid off of the pot my lenses will fog up just like glasses do. Or, if I walk outside on a humid day from inside of a cold building. All I have to do is blink a couple times and then I'm okay. But they do fog up. 2D |

they dont actually steam up since they are fairly moist all day anyway....but if yo take a shower or go swimming with them your vision can get just a little blurry...but it also depends which kinda of contacts you have because there are different ones for that specific purpose |
