My friend recently committed suicide and I'm just thinking now that she probably had schizophrenia. We used to talk all the time and it it seemed like the way we thought about things was very similar. we seemed really connected in a weird way. we were both very isolated and I've known her since i was very little and we spend a lot of time together. I'm wondering if its possible for two close friends to develop schizophrenia. Like has there been known cases of this happening? Yes she heard voices and i have hallucinations and also hear people talking. Also, if one of us had schizophrenia and the other just got the symptoms how do we know who really has it. Shes gone now so if I just "get better" then it was her but if I don't then did she kill herself because of the symptoms she got somehow from me?
