What I do is drink plenty of liquids, maining orange juice. Use a nasal decongestant spray but don't use it past the time the bottle tells you. Get plenty of rest. Before you know it your cold will be gone. |

If it's really a just a bad cold, then there is no medication that can get rid of it. Stuff like Tylenol Cold can help relieve your sinuses, and hot drinks like tea help, as well as carbonated drinks. So, if it's a cold, just rest and let it run its coarse. If it gets much worse and you think you have an infection (usually you can tell that you have an infection if you cough up colored phlegm--green or yellow) then you need to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Colds usually last about a week. |

Colds last about 7 - 14 days and as they are usually caused by a virus a doctor can't help. Buy some cold medicines from the pharmacy (they will recommend things). Hope it goes soon. |
