Yes, so they are clean, but also to get all of the food out of your teeth. If you have braces, all the more reason to brush. |

I guess you can do whatever you want...if you think about the dentist is probably going to clean your teeth, so I would say don't brush. Although, if you like your dentist it is polite to brush before hand. |

Would you take a shower before going to get a physical? As a dentist, I appreciate it if someone at least tries to brush their teeth before a visit. If you just can't do it, it's probably not a big deal, but it's the polite thing to do. |
