You probably did something wrong, typed some digit incorrectly. No one can have a BMI of 13.6; You would likely be dead.

well, just check your eating habbits and make sure they seem online. anyway, skinny is a lot better that fat, and most guys will be coming on to you if not now, than soon when they reach that point harmonaly.

if you eat normal and your not dying then it's ok
but if your really that concered about it talk to your doctor

bmi doesn't take into account practically anything..
it's just a guidline
some guys i know who are really muscular are considered oveerweight on the BMI because they have a lot of muscle, and they carry a lot of it on there chest and stuff.

so yeah, if your happy with your bod and your healthy and stuff, just ignore it because it will make you miserable.

Most BMI calculators are designed for adults, not children. I was super skinny when I was that young. You'll fill out.

Eat well and exercise allot. Thats all you should worry about right now. Don't worry about losing weight at this point in your young life. Just develop the habit of exercising and eating right. Your bone structure plays allot into your weight too. So just stay active, and you'll be fine.

BMI charts are normally made for adults...your still growing and at 12 the curves and hormones haven't kicked in.
the reason to be health women need to stay in the 18-24 has to do with our reproductive systems.
My guess is your fine stop worrying about it.

You're twelve! Twelve year old kids weights can have a huge range. Wait til you are older and have gone through puberty.. you will gain weight and feel stupid for asking this question..

Your BMI is so low because you're still a kid and a BMI is usually for adults and people who are big or overweight...

You are 12....your body probably hasn't even hit puberty....give it some years and you might be sending a question about how to lower your BMI. And by the way...how do you just happen to know ur BMI

Well, anything under 18.5 is underweight. Are you sure you did it correctly?

Anyways, I think that the BMI should be contested because these days there are so many different kinds of people. BMI's were standardized around Caucasian people, but there are so many other groups of people who are all different sizes.

If you eat healthy, and work out then you should be fine. If you are really concerned maybe see your doctor and they will determine if you should gain any weight.
