I'm 5'4 and way 122lbs its a very healthy weight so I would say none!! If you are uncofortable with weight and are set on losing I would say no more than 15 absolute tops!!! Only 10 would be ideal, underweight is a huge health risk as well as overweight. If you think you need to lose weight because you want your belly to be flatter don't focus on losing weight focus on tuning the midsection. Try laying on your back and lifting you legs so they staright up (90 degree angle with floor) then lift butt off ground about 2 inches hold for 5-10 seconds then release, so this bout 15 times take a min break then repeat cycle 2 more times. Takes about 5 min total and if you do it everyday you should get results you are looking for. |

According to BMI (Body Mass Index) scales, your weight should be between 105 and 140. This is based on your current BMI, which is calculated by factoring in weight and height, and is 22.1. A healthy BMI should be anywhere between 18.5-24.9, so your mean healthy weight is 122.5, which you are only 2.5 lb above. Aesthetically speaking, however I can't say, but if you lose more than 20 lb you will be technically underweight. |

At 5 ft. 3 inches 125 Lbs. you are a perfectly fine weight. If you are going to do anything, exercise more and tone up a little. You do not need to worry about losing any weight. |

Listen Kyra as long as you do not have a fumpa(the fat hanging over your pants around the waist)thick loose thighs.
then you are good. Its not a number game. Just stay healthy and in shape. 5.3 is the hottest height for a girl I would say 110 if you want to play the number game. But it depends on your body. Big breast gives you some lee way. |

OK it all depends if you have fat tissues or it is muscle weight (sorry i am bad at spelling). first of all i am hoping that you are comfortable with your body! i think loosing 10 pounds is too much! you have to feel comfortable with your weight, and if you want to loose weight you must consider that you will have to try to keep it off and not gain it all back. it is great for you to get fit, but do not think of it as a weight goal target. |

your weight is fine, just watch the junk food and eat healthy like fruits, veggies, and salads. In the long run this is the best option.

Google Body Mass Index for your age and height. Then take muscle mass into consideration as well. Your weight for your height is just fine. If you want to tone up it's not about loosing so many pounds. It's simply about changing your routine a little.
Eat atleast 3 healthy meals a day, plenty of water and juice and get atleast 30 minutes of activity in per day. Swiming is a great full body workout. If you train with weights and want to tone up pick a weight that your body can move safetly and correctly at a faster pace for more reps. You'll see results in no time. |

1st-Why do you feel you need to lose weight? And 2nd-your weight is just a number. It depends on how much muscle you have and your body fat percentage. You can be toned and weigh 15lbs more than someone and look skinnier than that person because muscle weighs more than fat. You should be asking yourself, "What can I do start a healthy lifestyle" as opposed to, "How much weight should I lose." Before I had my son five years ago I was 5'4" and 125lbs and I look at pictures of me then and I think I was too skinny.... :) But good luck! |
