a co-worker of mine got this book...eat right for your blood type. He found out his blood type and ate only the foods listed for that type. He really doesn't excersize a lot but he drinks a lot of water. He lost the weight so fast and feels good. Im thinking of trying it my self but I want to do alot of walking as well. Hope this helps : ) |

i feel the same way as u do, ive been actually trying to convince myself to eat less, its hard but you cant give up. once in a while i will do 100 sit ups and run. but try to cut down on food, its kinda unhealthy but it should work and if u're feeling hungry try to sleep more so u dont think about food. ive been drinking a lot of water and cranberry juice and that keeps my stomach full. try that! |

Exercise and eat really healthily (nothing fattening) should get rid of it asap. But don't starve yourself; you'll only put it back on again when you start eating properly! |

eat a little less than usual and go for the healthy stuff and get rid of junk food for a while.
exercising would make losing weight go much faster and if you cant get to a gym do crunches in your room and stuff and go for walks. |

First, see your doctor. He will give you a proper diet and exercise program. And remember that muscle weighs 2.5 times more than fat. So if you exercise while dieting, you add muscle weight and lose body fat weight. |

1. Drink water

Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.
Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.
2. Eat regularly
This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast.
Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day.
When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!
3. Eat lots of fibre
Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer.
Fibre is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body. During the elimination process it cuts calories consumed by attaching to protein and fat that you eat along with it removes that as well
In addition, high fiber foods are typically low in calories and filling, so you are reducing your calorie intake overall.
Good fibre foods include: strawberries, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes, (with skins) broccoli, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts.
4. Consume more good fats
There are good fats and bad fats
Good fats provide you with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostoglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and lowers the risk of heart disease.
For example, the reason oily fish is a great food stems from the fact that the essential fatty acids which it contains can actually help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Get at least three portions of oily fish a week with Salmon, mackerel, herrings and sardines being good choices. 5. Get plenty of quality protein
Quality protein is an effective weight control tool because of the satiety factor and its ability to keep you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings
Protein helps to maintain muscle mass which is important in the fat burning process.
Good choices include:
Fish, shrimps, Low fat cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk, egg whites, s Weight gain is caused by consuming too many calories, whether they are from carbohydrate, protein or fat.
6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight
Don't believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight!
A diet containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss
Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body.
When eating carbohydrates eat them "from the earth" with no refining or processing.
These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans.

If you have read the above you will see that it is not the food group, but the quality of the food in it that's important for fast weight loss.

From my experience, there are no shortcuts which are considered healthy for the long run. If you are seriously want to lose weight you have to work hard and earn it.
That said, why not make it a fun experience?
Can you afford to take some time off - why don't you take a fitness travel program?
This way you get to see new places, work hard, lose weight and meet great people who share the same goals as yourself.

for a woman. i would say 30 push up in morning and 30 sit up. jog for 10=20 min. if that does help add 5 minutes or set to the excerise each day >< |

You can't necessarily "lose weight fast" unless its unhealthy; so if the results aren't immediate, don't freak out.

There is no such thing as fast, but healthy.
I've tried everything, and found the Weight Watchers Points and excerising 3 days a week helped me drop up to 5 lbs a month. |

Gym. Crunches. Leg lfts. If you can't touch your toes then start working on that first. Hula hopping really helped me. Start off with hula hoops with water then when your lean try using a SlimGoHoop

But use the regular water hoop first.

So this isn't exactly the quickest way to lose weight, but it's the most healthy -
Eat all your daily fruits and veggies, drink milk and water, exercise, and try to stay fit. If you don't have a special occassion to lose weight for, then just take it slow, and do this^
You don't want to rush it, because your results might not end up the way you had planned..

well my aunt started exersizing by running on her tredmile for about 30-45 minutes a night ( she worked up to that much time) and lost 39 pounds in 3 months |

How about a Juice fast, I'm on it at the moment and you tend to lose about 10 lbs a week
just be careful when you go back to eating normal food start light the rule is for half the time you were on the fast you eat lightly (ie fruit and veggies and some whole grain bread)
so if you're on the fast for 14 days you eat fruit and veggies for 7 days then begin to add fish and nuts and some heavier carbs

Eat breakfast around 8am or 9am. Have a healthy breakfast, vitamins, and orange juice. At noon, eat a healthy non-fatning lunch. Try a sandwhich and a glass of milk. Don't eat snacks before or after this. At about 5pm have a nice filling dinner. Maybe have a small healthy snack around 9pm, before you go to bed. Don't add in a bunch of fatning snacks between meals. You also will want to work out a lot. Do: 20 Push-ups, 10 sit-ups, lift weights, run about 2 miles, and drink 8 glasses of water a day, but only if you're moving a lot. You should see differences in about a week or two. Don't go belemic or aniorexic, please. Loose weight a healthy weight. And people don't even have to know about it! Just grab your ipod and run! Don't force yourself to run the whole thing. Bring a water bottle. Or just ride your bike or walk. [: |

if you have a baby, carry him or her all day..chase him or her..have him or her chase you!
lie down, and lift both your legs..but keep them low and close to the ground..see how long you can hold that!!
clean as fast as you can...it sounds dumb, but carrying the mop...going up and down those starirs... it's like power walking..(but ur cleaning while ur walking fast)
take ur family for a swim
and don't jjust stay in the water and float!...SWIM! and see how long you can do it without stopping!

well my moms friend stopped eating carbs and she lost 55 pnds. in just 3 months i guess thats as fast as its gonna come off she lost like 4 & 1/2 pounds a week but that might be too drastic
or you can do some excersise |
