Only go to the hospital if you want your life ruined.
They will diagnose you with schizophrenia.

Go... just tell them you are having a severe mental breakdown.
dancerhelen2006
Call 911 and tell them what you've been telling us here. They'll either come get you or tell you to go to the hospital yourself. But get some help!
samuelmassingill
yes, it could be serious seek help instantly.Go to the hospital now. Good luck
rugbyplayerseattheirdead
calm down, you need to see a shrink, not a medical dr.
trick9us
YES go straight to the ER they CAN help you out.

Hypoglycemia can put you in you some pretty freaky mental states that can mimic psychosis. Also thyroid imbalances. Get a blood work-up at your local walk-in clinic or regular physician.
If you go to the ER, they'll triage you and you'll wait for hours, unless you're gushing blood. Get a friend or family member to take you to the doctor/clinic.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there is someone with you, get them to drive. Go now, who cares what they think ... just go!
*if* you have been taking drugs (hey, its possible) tell them. they won't dob you in for it.
why are you reading this, go now!

Sounds like a panic attack. Call a good friend to accompany you to the hospital unless you have a family doctor you can call for advice. Also, some areas have "Crisis Services" where you can talk to someone, hopefully immediately, to help calm you down.
When you settle down, try to find a group called "Recovery" in your area. It is a self-help group which is run like AA -- everyone is addressed on a first-name basis. It helps a lot to be in the company where everyone is in the same boat and no one will judge you.
Get going, and good luck.

You certainly need to talk with someone and if you can't think of anyone else to discuss this with, certainly go to the emergency room
In South Australia you can dial a number: 131465 for the Acute Crisis Intervention Service which has a phone counselling service.
I am sure that where you are there are similar phone counselling services.
Your GP may be able to help or direct you to a counsellor
You may be able to help calm things down by talking with a good friend - some adult you can trust.

I would go to the hospital, Tell them exactly what you wrote here. They'll ask you questions and decisions will be made for your heath and welfare. Tell them the truth so they are able
to understand what's going on. If you put yourself in their hands everything will work itself out. I'll be thinking about you.
Popsicle_1989
I highly suggest going to the hospital. If you are worried about what to tell them just say how you feel. Like you did here. Say that you are itchy, snappy, depressed etc. They can help you.
insideout72
Go to the ER. NOW!
bmac
Yes. They will help you.
Pay no attention to "lost_one." He answers all questions the same way. Go to the ER NOW. Tell them exactly what you said here. They will call the psychiatrist on-call and get you help. Call 911.

how abrubptly did this start ? were you taking any drugs ? any foods you dont normally eat ?
it could be an allergy , it could be a hormone imbalance, .
Go to a Doctor today , your family doctor, hospital clinic or if nowhere else the emergency room .
just tell them your symptoms , the physical stuff first and then the emotional stuff.
ehmenard@prodigy.net
Are you suicidal? If you are, then you should go to the hospital.
Either way, if you are feeling out of control, go to the hospital either by calling 911 or having a friend take you so you get there. Do you have someone you trust who can be with you right now?
Many of the descriptions you have used sound like anxiety. If that is treated, then maybe you can deal with the depression better. I have to tell...IT WILL GET BETTER! This is a temporary phase.

Please, please contact a mental health clinic or hospital emergency room right away! What your are describing sounds serious. It could be an anxiety disorder, a combination of anxiety and depression, or other disorders. It's impossible to tell from over the internet like this, but it does sound serious because it is frightening you a lot. Don't be afraid that the people at the clinic will judge you negatively. What you are describing is an illness--not a moral or personal problem. In its own way, it is as serious as a disease such as cancer, hepatitis, or any other major medical/health problem. Most mental health clinics have a service that offers crisis or urgent appointments immediately.
What you tell the people at the clinic is exactly what you have written here--exactly how you feel and what is going on for you. These are the symptoms of your disorder, and that is what they need to know. They will be in the best position to offer you treatment and help for what you are going through. Do not try to get through this by yourself. That would be like trying to do surgery on yourself--it won't work, and it's dangerous.
You can go to the Emergency Room at your local hospital, where the doctors and nurses there can evaluate your condition and get treatment for you right away. You will need medication and other treatment for your disorder, which one of the doctors can probably start right away while s/he is waiting for a response from a psychiatric specialist. The medication will reduce the symptoms that you are having right away and then you can be evaluated for more ongoing treatment.
Whatever you decide to do, please reach out and get help immediately. You should not have to live with the symptoms of such a scary and dangerous disorder because there are treatment options that will help you to feel better again. Please don't hurt yourself or someone else. Don't smash the things in your room. Even when you "feel" like it, you can stop and realize that those thoughts and feelings don't have to be turned into actions. You are in control of your own behavior. Take care of yourself in a caring, positive way by going to get help for your illness right away. If possible, try to get a friend or a family member to take you to the hospital or to the mental health/crisis clinic. Don't try to go through this all by yourself! It is too serious to get through alone. And please know that there are people who care about you, even though we may not know you. There is treatment available for you that will help you so that you do not have to feel this way. You will get better if you get treatment for what you are going through.

Please pick up the phone and dial 411 ask for your local crisis hotline's telephone number. Talk to someone about your symptoms. They will be able to tell you if you need to be seen in the hospital, or if you are capable of de-escalating enough to wait to speak with a therapist. Is there a history of mental illness in your family? Have you been thru a stressful situation lately like a break up, new or loss of job, death of a loved one etc? If so, you are going to be ok, you will get thru this.........but do call the crisis hotline....those people will get you the kind of help you feel you need.
