Somewhere i read that if you wear contacts, that it doesnt affect your eye vision. It keeps your vision the same. But that if you wear glasses, it just keeps making your eyesight worse. Don't ...

I have a bad cold, with stuff leaking from my eye, can I wear my contacts? I hate glasses!?
One eye is really bloodshot and watery, and somethings green gooey stuff comes out. Can I wear my contacts, or should I throw out the pair I was wearing and wait until my eye calms down? Thanks! Additional Details Thank you everyone, I will definitely not put them in. It's not a question of how I look in my glasses, but how I feel in them. It's 105 degrees here, and I just get too sweaty in them, but too bad! Thanks again!
well, I'd put my vision above how I look in my glasses. if your eyes are irritated and gooey DON'T wear your contacts, you'll only make it worse.

Sterilize the contacts if you can do so safely. The water from your eyes is loaded with the cold virus that your body is trying to fight off right now.

Not only should you NOT wear them you should throw them away. If you were to wear them you would more than likely make the problem worse.

Waiting won't do much. Go to your doctor for medication in eye-drop format. You might also have conjuntivitis (pink eye). Find out and take care of it by the right methods.

NO DO NOT PUT YOUR CONTACTS IN........
It sounds like you have an infection in your eye, go see your doctor or your eye doctor to make sure. But until then keep those contacts out of your eyes.....
