I'm a 16 year old female, and have some odd symptoms.
I've noticed in the last year that I have really bad circulation in my hands-- sometimes they almost shrivel up and are almost paralyzed by the lack of circulation. And I get these..."episodes" of extreme hunger accompanied by nausea and major dizziness. (Usually I get pretty cranky then too.)
I've also gone to the eye doctor twice to see if I have astigmatism, because my vision is blurry even with my contacts, although the results were negative both times.
High blood pressure also runs in my family...but I'm a fairly healthy 5'2", 106lbs.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
I don't know how to tell my parents any of this and just say "Hey...so I should go to the doctor because..."
They've heard these things all before, but not together and not as symptoms of an actual disease.
idk go to your docctor why are you asking online!?
Bux - Type 2 Diabetic (NIDDM)
While it's possible you have diabetes, it's more likely that you have a thyroid problem. It's possible that you are low on iron too. Or even low blood pressure.
You need to see the doctor and get some blood tests - not just the glucose test, but several tests to find out the problem.
