Psychiatric nursing is it a good field to get into?
Hi there I'm a new LPN (LVN) after about a year of working and getting experience I will go into the RN program, my question is this, Im very interested in psychiatric nursing like dealing with clients who have schizo and other mental disorders, if i become a RN is there some way how I can specialize in this field? Like being a RN yet a specialty will be a Psychiatric nurse? Like for example how some nurse specialize in burns and treat burn victims, Is there a big scope in the psychiatric filed?
