I dont particularly like to go, but its a necessity. Your teeth are very important and its good to have a check up twice a year. |

No, I always go to my 6 months check up religiously. I pay dental insurance if I don't go every 6 months I am wasting my money. It's for my own good. |

OMG!! I am SOOOO scared of dentists. I've had a bad bout of infections from my teeth that were really bad (due to bulimia - not nice!!) and I required a lot taking out. I had to aske the dentist to refer me to an oral surgeon so that could be done under a General anaesthetic. They did that on Tuesday, I go today to get my dentures. I'm terrified of needles and anything like that in my mouth so I had to make the dentist swear they weren't going to use anything like that and they were really helpful. I'm glad it's all over now and I should never get another infection in the mouth. |

Yes, haven't been to dentist since I was 16, that's over 30yrs ago. Unfortunately I have to go soon as a tooth broke and I now only have a jagged edge sticking out of my gum. |

Yes, terribly and though for years I thought I was the only one, on discovering a web site for dental phobics, although not cured, talking to like minded people has really helped me. If you are afraid too, log into www.dentalfearcentral.com. It really will help you. |

I get a little nervous but my dentist is pretty nice and does his best to make procedures as comfortable as possible.
The worst part is the bill. |

The whole process just makes me feel really uncomfortable even if I floss and brush daily. Just the noise and smell of things makes me so uncomfortable. I don't like it. Have a nice day =) |
