i got 4 mine out at the same time....i didnt lose any weight...if i did it was hardly anything....u dont lose ur appetite..you lose ur ability to chew cause it hurts...but i had a cheesburger the same day so its not that bad.

Don't count on this to be of any assistance in loosing weight. I had surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed when I was in college. When I woke up I remember being very sore. My mouth was swollen for a couple of days. I only had clear broth and jello for the first day or so. That didn't last long. My appetite was back within the week and I was back to my normal diet. By the way, when I was in college I was about 120 lbs. soaking wet...that didn't last long ether.... ;-)

I had all four of mine out at the same time, and I lost maybe 2-3 pounds. As soon as you start eating again, though, you'll gain it right back

four wisdom teeth removed. They were impacted. I had surgery to remove. Unfortunately, I did not lose a pound. You will be uncomfortabale for a few days 3- 5, I can not remember, it has been a while. After that, I was back to eating as normal. Sorry.

Well, sort of..... I had ALL of mine removed, but I only had 3, the 4th one never grew. I don't think I lost much at all. Maybe a pound at the most.

I had two taken out by my dentist when they had come through and i went into hospital to have the other two removed because they had not come through at all,the pain was so bad after that i did lose afew pounds.I could not eat anything for a few days i had things like soup and rice pudding.Make sure you have strong pain killers to take after.

Chew gum gently as soon as you can after the op - it helps the swelling go down quicker. I had all 4 of mine out under local (dentist kneeling on my chest with pliers in my mouth!) but was gnawing on spare ribs two days later.

Yes. I had all four of mine removed at once. You don't loose any weight. I was hurting the first day but slept thru it because of the meds. Its really not that bad
