I doubt you could do 500 push ups a day for very long lol but if you want to build a nice chest just start with three sets of whatever you can do as soon as you wake up, each day doing at least one more, in less then a month i'm sure you'd be able to at least bench your weight, that's what i did at first, now i can bench over 154% of my body weight :)

You would see results alright. Torn muscle fibers, run down body. You would only trash your body. Especially since you would be doing it everday. Your muscles only repair/grow when you rest.

You'd sure feel the results after the first day! I doubt you'd be worth much the second day... But yes, you'd see results

I used to do that not to get a six pack, but to lose weight. And it worked for me. But achieving the six pack look will definitely take longer.

You would never be well advised to so much so quickly. Why not start with 100 sit ups and 100 push ups a day for two weeks and then increase both to 150 for the next three weeks and then increase both to 200 for the next four weeks, et cetera. Make bigger jumps if you can do so sooner, but don't push so hard that you injure yourself.
You will see modest results in body tone within a week. You will see substantial change in four weeks. You will be an entirely different looking person in a year.
Good luck, but take it slow.

You would most likely tear the muscles beyond repair. Take it slow. Start low and work your way up. You're not going to see results in a week....aim for a month.

do 1000 a day, and jog for half an hour your legs will be sore for days but if you run everyday for 30 minutes your legs will get used to it, also lay on your back and make your legs go up and down both at the same time its hard the 1st couple of times, but it gets easier do more and more each day because if you stay at the same level you wont see any change.trust me.

considering you could accomplish this..no offense..your neck would likely hurt like hell if you don't do the sit up/crunches right. cross your arms on your chest..DONT GRAB BEHIND YOUR HEAD. And to answer your question, it will take longer. If abs and arms could be had in a week, we'd all have them. Scientifically, you need to let the tiny tears in your muscles heal between workouts, feeding them with a high protein diet. You should also mix up your workouts..AKA..do more than just push ups and sit ups..check out menshealth.com for some good workouts. good luck and stick with it!

You would probably have a sore back from the sit-ups and a sore arms and chest from the push ups. Do not do sit-ups; do crunches instead. It would take a little longer to see physical results. And you need to start slower. That many in one day would probably leave you so sore that you couldn't exercise for a while.

not that much in a week
you will probably also die
no one can do that much unless they are already in very good shape, you will be so sore after the first day, you probably won't be able to go on!

don't forget you need to burn off fat too in order to see any results. the muscles could be there but you just can't see them. and you'll see results in more than a week for sure, but you might feel a difference first. plus...sounds like you're going overboard there. the quality of the situps and push ups are more important than the number.
