Swimming is good for losing about 1-15 pounds or more.
It also helps you get good stregth for your mucles. If you know how to swim drinking and eating alot of nutrients. Sorry, but I like gymnastics more I'm competive in it. Or used to be. Sorry.
But swimming is really good for you. |

Swimming is one of the greatest exersizes cuz you dont get sweaty,stay cool and it works all of your muscles-plus its no impact on your joints! Burns alot of callories and ect.. |

Swimming is an excellent form of exercise and burns a lot more calories than pretty much anything else in the same time period (except running).
Losing weight is all about burning more calories than you eat, so it's definitely a good way to lose weight as long as you control your diet.

yes it is. swimming gets your heart rate going for a great areobic exercise. swimming also uses all of your muscles, it doesnt focus on just one. Swimming also helps your body because you do not put stress on your joints such as running. |

u know what... if ur just playing in the pool.. like jumoing off the board and swimming and having a good time.. if u do that for 30mins u burn 230calories! so, just have fun and don't do something u don't wanna do... because then u'll hate it... trust me experience! =D

When I use to be in gym class we would swim all those different styles for 30 minutes 5 days a week for 3 weeks.
I did lose some weight too =) |
