That's impossible, so your question can't have an answer. To complete your goal it must be both realistic and short term. And, the question bar is for, well, questions. |

There is no exact amount of time you should run a day. It should be a lot, though. Don't only run your butt off, eat healthy and treat your body right. Cut out the unhealthy food you usually eat. You'll se results. Drink lots of water too!! |

5 miles a day should do the trick. I lost 30 in three.. and I ran about 7. |

Maybe 45 minutes 5 days a week, combined with healthy eating habits, i'm sure you could easily lose thirty pounds.
Good Luck =) |

It's hard to say, you can't only lose weight from running but your diet plays a part. If you track your calories and exceed the amount you loose a day from exercising than anything is possible as it varies from each individual |

30 minutes to 45 minutes and build up to it, don't try to jump into anywork out. Running alone will not make you lose weight, you must chnage your entire lifestyle. |

30 pounds / 13 weeks = 2.3 pounds per week
With your diet staying exactly the same you'll have to run off roughly 8000 extra calories per week. To burn 8000 calories running per week you'll have to run approximately 72 miles (that's if you happen to weigh 155 lbs)
As you build up muscle mass the distance you'd need to run will drop- as your metabolism will have increased... then again, as you drop weight you expend less calories per mile... assuming that those wash, you are back to around 10 miles / day to hit that goal. |
