I am A dental Assistant so I can tell you if you have persistant bad breath that you can't get rid of with brushing/flossing/mouthwash... this usually mean you have decay in your mouth or possibly periodontal disease... perio disease happens when you don't properly floss your teeth once a day or if you smoke or don't brush around your gumline... if you already have perio disease it cannot be cured only maintained by your dentist... when you have perio disease you loose bone in between your teeth causing bacteria to grow and eat away more bone until eventually the tooth loosens up.... anyway I have to go I have plenty of imformation e-mail me if you need it if you are not ready to take care of your teeth there is a mouth wash called breath rx get it. |

Lol, brush twice a day, floss once a day, use mouthwash once in the morning, once at night and when you brush your teeth, brush the plaque off your tongue too. |

When you brusth your teeth also brush your tongue to remove the germs which is what causes bad breath, rince very well. Buy some regular mint mouth wash and mix peroxide with it(about 50/50 soluiton) and this will help to eliminate the germ buildup and be aware it will foam up in your mouth just like it does on a cut or a sore, but just let it foam a few seconds and then rince well and you can do this a couple times a day and you will notice you have fresh breath a lot longer throughout the day. Also, keep your mouth hydrated by sipping on water and chewing sugarfree gum cause the sugar in gum and mints will actually help CAUSE bad breath. One more thing, Floss regularly believe it or not cause the stuff that builds up between your teeth smells really bad as well. Good luck!!
PS. bad breath does not come from your stomach as some would believe. Foods we eat leave a smell inside the cheeks, on the tongue, on and between the teeth. |

If you smoke, quit. Stop eating foods that upset your stomach. Brush and floss your teeth daily, even twice daily. Use mouthwash. |

A lot of the bacteria that causes bad breath lives on your tongue. Be sure to brush regularly (at least twice daily), and when you do, be sure to brush your tongue and rinse with a decent mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide.
If your bad breath is really persistent, there are always tic-tacs and gum. You can also talk to your dentist about how to control bad breath.
Hope this helps! |

Floss your teeth, the stuff between them is apparently is the major contributor to bad breath. Incidentally my heart specialist tells me that this "stuff" also damages your heart valves. |

If you want to prevent breath bad then start by practicing an oral hygiene of the mouth with cleaning, brushing and flossing. Oral hygiene helps to prevent the build-up of the bacteria that forms on your teeth, tongue and gums that causes bad breath. |

Thoroughly floss your teeth. Plaque is the number one source. Brush your teeth thoroughly and your tongue. Get a tongue scraper as well. Rinse your mouth out with Listerine. If you usually get bad breathe after drinking coffee, then brush your teeth. Drink lots of water as well. |

Try the usual stuff like mouthwash etc. If that doesn't help then go and see your doctor as you may have infection in the gut which is causing it xxx |

what helps a LOT is using Listerine's Whitening Pre-Brush Rinse. then get the Colgate 360 with the tongue pad on the back. brush well- go over every tooth twice in each direction-top, front and back. and the biggest thing that helps with halitosis- the clinical term for bad breath- is to actually use the tongue pad at the end. not with toothpaste, but just brush the tongue pad up and down your tongue like youre brushing your teeth. its amazing and disgusting how much plaque is all on your tongue. |
