You would need to be seen right away....that doesnt mean that every ferrel animal has rabies. Rabie signs are if the animal is acting weird, disoriented, has a lot of saliva at the mouth (possibly already foaming),and just acts crazy. The foam comes on later, first it's excessive saliva just disgustingly dripping out of their mouth.

Immediately after the incident. Rabies can be very very dangerous if not treated right away and fatal if left alone without any treatment at all. Definatly get to the doctor/hospital as soon as possible
