the upper arm can be tough for a woman to tone, our muscles aren't as responsive as men's are. There are several exercises to tone that area, rather difficult to describe.....

don't be offended but you are getting older..my wife is 55 and she noticed this and she work out three times a week and swims and gardens..so it is age..i don't think you can get a plastic surgeon to touch this area? |

the best toning for your arms i have ever found is through David Kirsch...you can get his Ultimate New York Body Plan DVD...its all about shadowboxing with 3lb dumbells-crossover, hook, and uppercut 20 reps each or more then right into pushups then right into tricep extensions..bicep curls, and overhead shoulder presses then go into a plank position |

Try working them out 3-4 times a week. Do little arm circles. Those help a lot by toning your arms. |

Have you lost weight? That may be part of the reason. If you can afford it, you could have surgery to tighten it up. That may be pretty expensive. |

Build up a little muscle tone.
ten minutes a day with some five pound weights.
slow curls.
work up from there. |

Well first of all, twice a week is not enough. You should be doing weight training at least 3-4 times a week. Also try using heavier weights. Another thing to think about is that a lot of women have those "chicken wings" no matter how much we work out and weight train! |

the flab is fat stored in the back of the tricep. to fix this, you use straight or curved bar on a tricep pull down machine. grip it underhand like you are going to do a bicep curl. pull down, repeat. you should feel the burn right where you are describing. i recommend starting with 40lbs, because it hurts like hell the next day if you use too much weight. Do not use the upside down V bar that you would use for overhand triceps - its not friendly to he wrist. good luck!
incidentally - that's how those powerlifters have those horseshoe looking triceps - there's three muscle groups to workout. |

You may not be fat but you have NO muscle tone. Get off of the computer and exercise. |

First off, how old are you? Your age will have a factor not just your weight. You can work on your triceps a little more than normal to firm up that area. Try tricep extensions, tricep kickbacks, skullcrushers, etc.
Here's some sites to check out:

You'll need to work them arms more than twice a week. Try every other day.
Do arm curls with free weights or rubber bands or whatever you can get your hands on. And workout the triceps. Those seem to be the muscles you seem to really want to target.
Push-ups work well too. Do a few sets of those. Set number is determined by how good of shape you are in now. If you can do 15 reps without a problem, then make it 20 and do three sets of 20 push-ups in your routine and build from there.
Jogging or any kind of cardio workout can help burn fat in the overall body scheme. That'll help tone things for ya.
If you still can't get the jiggle to go away, well, I guess you can look forward to hollering out BINGO!!!!!!
Also, you could find another way to wave good bye.
Take care |

not gonna lie- when i read the title i laughed.
i think everybody has that, no matter how in shape they are.
well, unless you're like a body builder or something.
but this one time i was at a football game. and the guy next to me was cheering and the same thing happened with his arms. and he was in pretty damn good shape. that's when i realized that there isn't really anything we can do about it. |
