Although it is illegal in most states I think it really is a stupid ruling. It is not any more hazardous if used in moderation than drinking, and you don't get a hang over. Also it has beneficial uses, which the state of Calif has seen the rights to agree with.
It helps with glaucoma, and it is fantastic for helping people on chemo get over the nausea. It also helps people who are in constant pain,I dont mean from a hang nail, I mean people who have things like back problems where they can't get out of bed. Have I tried it? Well, I'm of the generation where it was made nothing more than a misdemeanor and everone walked around the streets of NY smoking a Doobie as it wasn't really a big law and nobody cared. Also, I have a bad disease and can't move my back at times, or can't sleep from all the pain. I'm one of those who strongly want to see it legalized.
