plain soap and water.... these deoderants or anti persperants are so full of chemicals that may even more disturb the kid's skin and breathing.... what about the 'roll-on' types?

something very skin friendly Dove may be?

Avoid aerosols obviously. So then you would want a roll on deodorant. Boots do ones that are unscented for sensitive skin- any of those ranges. If it's a girl- Dove is good- their sensitive skin one or a boy Vaseline intensive care deodorant.

My 16 year old son has the same problem and has been in and out of hospital with severe exzema. He doesnt actually use deodrant, he just has a shower everyday instead and uses the washing product prescribed by his dermatologist. He was also told not to use as it can irritate his skin and any open wounds he may have. You should talk to his dermatologist for advise as everyone is different, or talk to one of the dermatology nurses at your local hospital.
