I have no pulse!? Heart is slowing down, wtf is going on?!?
I was trying to sleep just a minute ago and my neck felt funny and my heart stopped beating. All my pulses, like in my neck and on my wrist were gone, but I felt fine!
I now have a very faint, light heartbeat. It's 1:30 in the morning, so what should I do?
I'm a 17 year old male. I wasn't doing drugs or drinking. Help?
Could be low blood pressure. Your heart may not have actually stopped but could have been beating very softly instead. This happens to me sometimes, but it goes back to normal pretty quick. I don't know what causes it. I usually have a big glass of water to make sure its not dehydration or something.

asystole, but if the statement is true, you wouldn't have been here to send this question and really wonder in such a state how you tried to feel your pulse, my impression is that it was a psychological phenomena, so don't worry.

You should write all this down in a journal so you can show it to a doctor when you go see him or her. You could have an irregular heartbeat. That won't kill you necessarily, but if you have it you should
know it and monitor it when needed.
Take some long, deep breaths. These will help your heart and help you sleep. By all means, if your chest and/or arm starts to hurt or you have trouble breathing, don't mess around! Call 911!
But please see a doctor ASAP. it may be nothing, but you have to check.
