Do people still give there hard earned $$$$$ to the cancer society ?
they have cures they dont want you to know about why cure it they say you will make billions but they make 100 x's that now why cure it.
Why not, its for a good cause. Apparently you know of no one who has cancer or died from cancer.
Sammie
yes people do all the time and its good that they do
Kimberely B
i do

Yes, there are those machines (multiwave oscillators) that are supposed to be able to get rid of it to at least some degree but they will never(probably) be approved because that is billions of dollars out of their pockets.
Curing a disease isn't exactly like baking a cake either.

Why would the Cancer Society make a cure? They aren't a pharmaceutical company. More to the point they wouldn't hide it to make "billions".

lol youre a dumbass. can you show me proof they have cures and are withholding them? no? if you know anything about cancer, its very difficult to treat because there is little biochemical difference between a cancer cell and a normal cell, so its not that easy to make a little pill you can take that kills the cancer and not the person like we can for bacterial infections. plus every cancer case is different so what works in one person might not work in another, which is why all of our chemo drugs arent very specific, they just kill rapidly dividing cells (which means it kills cancer at a faster rate than normal cells). just shut your mouth if you dont know what youre talking about instead of making everyone else here stupider
and cancer is a leading cause of death. if we kept people alive longer, they'd use more drugs so they drug companies would probably make more in the long run if they cured it anyway. not to mention trillions of dollars if they did find a cure.

first of all, work on making sense. second of all, wouldn't you rather spend a money to help research a deadly disease than see a close family of yours die?

A lot of people still donate to the cancer society for more reasons than can be mentioned. However, it is not the society itself that governs a cure for cancer. It is the pharmaceutical companies that research for the cure and require large amounts in donations just to get started. When an effective drug is found and placed on the market, the company actually only recovers about 15 % of their research costs so they never really make a clear profit. Also, there are a few types of cancer that can be cured if detected and treated at an early stage.

I give
Anyway.....
I no longer donate to the American Cancer Society because I feel it is just a waste of money. They are not truly trying to develop a cure for cancer, but are using our money to develop new drugs (which in my opinion are more harmful than the disease itself!) so they can market them under the pretense of trying to help people and make huge disgusting amounts of money by lying to dying people. I would very happily donate my hard earned money to a company that was developing an all natural, total body health cure though.
