it might take 20 lbs for anyone else to notice a 250 lbs woman lost weight (though she may notice long before herself),
but only like 5-8 for a 150 lbs woman I would say |

I'm going prep everyone!!

it depends on the person really. i would say for the first person a few pounds maybe? for the seccond person more? but say an extreemly naturally skinny person, if they lost say 2 lbs it would be immediatly noticeable. it just depends on what the make up of that weight was. |

Depends on how the person's body burns fat, on certain people, certain areas will reduce first.
On other people, the reduction will be more even throughout the body, so it might take longer to see a visible difference.
Also If you're looking at yourself everyday all the time, weight loss might not be as noticeable to you. But someone who did not see you during the period of weight loss might notice even a couple of pounds less. |

at 250 you'd have to lose about 20 to notice
at 150, about 5 before you noticed. |

I would think a woman 250 lbs at 5'10" would have to lose 20 lbs and the woman 150 lbs at 5' 10" would have to lose 10 lbs for it to be noticeable. |

I'd say 5 pounds. I've heard 5 pounds is about the size of 5 pounds of sugar. So look at the 5 pound bag of sugar to get an idea, and I think weight loss starts at the top and works its way down. |

honestly it is usually the inches you lose that people notice first...when someone is trying to lose weight and are toning up they gain muscle (which weighs more than fat) Some people lose more inches than they do pounds and they look significantly better....so I'm not going with a number. |

For a woman of 250, it would probably take around 20.
I lost 25 LB last year and I started at 195. No one really noticed until I hit 20LB loss.
For a woman of 150, it would probably show up at a 10LB loss, simply because she has less to lose than someone over 200. I know when I was 160 and lost 10, it was noticed.
Ugh I hate having been all over the scale in the last 20yrs!! I've been as light as 125 and as heavy as 205, though 205 I was also 9 months pregnant with my 5th child. I'm currently 190, practically back up to where I was last year before I lost 25LB. This time it's going to work! I'm exercising every day, no less than 20 min and no excuses. I've done 40 min a day for 8 days so far! |
