Broken Ankle?
ok yesterday at football practice, i broke my ankle and tore a legiment. The doctor at the x rays place didnt put a cast on it cuz she said it was too swollen. i have to go back monday for the cast, she put a splint on it now. she also said i need physical therapy in about 6-8 weeks. im laying around and i hate walking on cruches, is there any way i could get like an air cast or walking cast so i can walk??????
I don't know of anything you can do to get out of walking on crutches but why wouldn't you want to!!!???!! u can get so much more attention that way!!! lol. well i know how you feel. crutches are annoying but look at the bright side you can get people to carry stuff for you and DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU!

I broke my ankle about five months ago. I had to stay off it for 4 weeks before I was given a walking cast. I know it's hard to walk on crutches but walking on it will just cause problems.

I broke my ankle a couple years ago and I had to stay off it for 6 weeks but after that they put me in a walking cast. So cheer up! You'll be out of it in no time! The best thing you can do is stay off of it. Good luck!

same thing happened to me, except the football practice, and i broke my leg. no ... just lay don on the couch make you yourself comfortable and watch tv let everyone else do things for you
