Tweezers, a sterilized needle, and a magnifying glass. Have someone else do it for you if you can. |

Run warm water over it every few hours. The infection will eventually push the splinter out. Just run the warm water over it and maybe put some sort of antibacterial ointment on the area so it doesn't get infected. |

always wash the infected area. get a pin or some tweezers and clean in some boiling water to reduce chances of infection the use one of them to remove a splinter.
nasty. isn't it. |

The best way is to have a doctor look at it however if you don't want to do that, use a small needle (dip it in alchahol first) to gently open up the skin until you can get a grip on it. |

soak in really hot salty water for as long as possible keep it really hot do this for at least half an hour, then try and get it out again with a needle |

Take a sewing needle and match or lighter and sterilize the needle with the flame and try to dig it out or at least bring it forward so you can remove with tweezers. But if you can not remove then see a doctor, it's not good when it's blistering etc. |

try using drawing out cream you can get it from chemists, usually works well |

With a sharp, fairly fine sewing needle. You`ll have to "pick" the skin off with it until you get to the splinter, then tweezer it out, or keep taking the skin away with the needle until the splinter comes out. |

soak it in some hot salt water, then use a sterilzed pin to dig it out, if that fails go see a nurse at your doctors. |

I dont know If I would try it now that It is infected? Usually I use glue. Open the puncture with a needle so the splinter is exposed. Then put a dot of glue over it and let it harden. When you peel it off the splinter should come with it |

Soak it in water until you go wrinkly the skin will be soft enough then for the tweezer way, I had to to it when I had a hair stuck under the skin of my heel... |

get some elmers glue...
pour some on the top of the splinter... let it dry...
peal it off..the splinter should come with it.
if not I guess letting it sit.. your body will get rid of it when it needs to |

Get a needle, pour rubbing alchol on it, put a flame on it for like 10 secs so that you sanatize it. Then dig away. It might be uncomfortable but you'll get it out. Then use some H2O2 (hydrogen proxide) and cover with a band aid. |

well the best way is right off, before the skin grows over it, either by rubbing it against something if your fingers can't grap it, or tweezers. The sterilized needle might work in your case though. |

put a fabric plaster over it and it will draw it out. i had one like yours when i was on holiday it drove me mad cause it was so sore i was told to put a plaster on it and after a couple of days it had gone hope this works for you too. good luck |

Try and clip some skin off with nail clippers, not a huge chunk though. Then try to get it with the tweezers |

put it under water while you try to yank it out with a sterilized safety pin...if it don't work go to a doc. |

you need to use a pin force it out the way it came in, it will be quite painful now thought seen as you have left it so long. |

A needle and tweezers should do it. dig it out real good with the needle and then use the tweezers to pull it out. and be a man about it and don't cry if it hurts a little because you lost your Virginity 16 years ago so you can do anything |

When you go to bed, wrap scotch tape around it. THis dries out the skin or something, but I know it pulls it towards the surface. Then, try using a knife (it only hurts a little) to cut open the skin and pull it with tweezers. |

Ouch. If it's gone septic I think you should go to the doctors. In future, pick it out with a steralised needle to reduce the risk of infection. |

Try pouring some peroxide on it as this will draw it up to the surface ofyour skin. Then apply super glue and let it dry then peel it off |

Check out the drug store and ask for a black drawing salve. I have used this before and it does draw out things from your skin.....toxins and stuff like that. The best thing to do is try to sanitize the wound first , then you may have to dig in there with a needle to get it out. If you feel you cant get it out just go to the docs. |

Go to a doctor...
If not, try soaking in ebson salt/warm water before you ty to get at it with tweezers again...You can also use a sterile needle to open the prunned skina lil and then tweeze it. |

well if its getting infected then go to your GP and see the nurse if there is one. If not just see your Dr. Don't put it off any longer as it sounds like it is infected.
may only be a splinter but if left you could lose the thumb thru infection.
did i say infection enough times. !!! |
