If you are not around the person, they cannot abuse you. If it is someone who you cannot avoid (like a father), talk to a counseler or go to the police. NO ONE deserves to be abused. But be sure that what is going on is in fact abuse. |

I think you're going to need to get a little more specific if you really want an answer to this question. |

Abuse is never justified or ok. The only way to stop the abuser is to never allow him or her an opportunity to do it again. The abuse MUST be reported to the proper authorities or to someone who can intervene and help. You must remove yourself from the situation or find a way to put yourself or the abused person in a safe environment if at all possible. |

Well you turn them in, and make it known that they are an abuser, so that they have to get help to stop it , or end up in jail, and so they do not abuse anymore people. So do it now, if you really want to stop that abuser. |

It's difficult to stop an abuser, b/c he/she has a sickness that allows them to think from time to time that abusing someone is ok.
A more important thing is how to get away from an abuser.
Statistically, it takes a person 7 times before they leave their abuser. Get some help. |

More specific please! If it's a family member, leave and tell the cops. If it's a boyfriend, then dump him and tell the cops. So yeah...but please be more specific if you want better answers. |

You shouldnt try to take this on by yourself, because if an abuser wanted to stop abusing he/she would seek professional help. If you or someone you know is being abused you or they should remove themselves from the situation immediately and call your local authorities. If you do not want to involve them, there are plenty of safe havens for women and children to turn to. But you can not cure and accuser without professional help and if they do not want to be cured. |

Jail sentence. Keep these guys away from other women. If the one he's with just leaves, he's still out there in the fish pool... only to be dated by the next unsuspecting woman. |
