Contact lens issues - do i really have to live with this?
Well, i've tried a good few lenses, and none have been brilliant - i've settled for a rare pair of bausch and lomb ones, given the advice that if they're not that bad, i should just stop testing out others, but i'm still getting problems! For instance, i can't wear my lenses for more that about 5 hours without my eyes feeling strained and dry. I have to put eye drops in every 2 hours, more or less, so that they don't 'stick' to my eyes.. Do i really have to live with this? Or should i insist on trying some more even though my optician says there aren't many others to try? Would i be ok with hard lenses? (my current ones are soft)
you should see if you have astigmatism. this can really effect the type of contacts that you can use

maybe you should ask your docter what perscription would be right for you

Call your optician, tell him or her what is going on. They can adjust your prescription. Also, try cleaning your lenses by a little rubbing with the lense solution. Mine get dirty and build up protein during the day, it really helps.

You might want to go to your eye doctor just incase it is something serious.
Try different lense solutions. I use opti-free replenish and I do notice a difference in how dry they feel from even just regular opti-free.
If its really a big burden you can always wait till you're old enough to get lasik eye surgery.
