Have you consulted a doctor? If not you should do it now as disrupted sleep is not good for anyone. I used to wake up every night for 4 years because of my asthma at 02-03:00.
I'm sure there are treatments available for your daughter's condition but as I'm not an expert I can't give any more advice. I hope it's sorted out.

before you bother with the expense of going to a doctor do the following.
put her to sleep as you normally would but don't put any type of shirt on her just cover her with a blanket.
Once she is asleep go and pull the blanket back to see if she is showing signs of labored breathing (if her stomach is pulling in alot during breathing then it isn't normal and she is having problems breathing)
More than likely there is another reason for her problems other than breathing, if she was having trouble breathing your would have noticed that long ago... at 4 years of age any number of things could be causing her to wake up crying... bad dreams... eating too much before going to bed... the list is nearly endless... but I would not expect breathing to suddenly show up at 4 years old as the reason.

Take her to a good local hospital as soon as you can. Tell them your concerns. They will check her out for you & advise you what should be done about it.

for this concern go to your doctor and talk to them so they can run a lung check on the baby.

Take her to the doctors!! It may be something as simple as needing her adenoids removed, my son had this done aged 4 was only in hospital for the day and was right as rain afterwards.
