Me and boyfriend have been together for 4 years and we have a child together. He recently went to the doctor's and they told him that he has Herpes and that he has had them since year 2000. Back in 2000 he got treated for Gonorthea and they tested him for herpes to. He never went back for the results, like a dummy he thought everything was cool because they gave him pills for his Gonorthea problem. Now 8 years later he learns he has herpes. Now we are together we have a son and I am just disgusted with the whole thing. I never thought this would be my life. I tried so hard to keep myself safe from getting it by not sleeping around and look I still have a very high risk of getting it. I have never had an outbreak but that doesn't mean anything I could still have it without showing any signs. I don't want to be with him any more I'm calling off our wedding I'm not planning for it I can't even see myself marrying him anymore. Please tell am I wrong for throughing my family away.

Also the last thing I want to do is get into a new relationship if i have it. That would not be right. I would rather be alone. I'm so ashamed!!!!
